Race Amity Day Lombard & Naperville

Alláh'u'Abhá!
More exciting news! The State of Illinois is proclaiming Race Amity Day this year!
Below are the flyers for upcoming events. The Juneteenth program is with a church that has supported Race Amity Day events in Lombard since we started. Supporting their event is an excellent opportunity for us to strengthen community with them. The Race Amity Film Series in Maywood is presented by the Bahá'ís in Maywood and has had a number of friends of the Faith in attendance.
And, of course. our two Race Amity celebrations for Saturday, June 7th, in Lombard and Sunday, June 8th, in Naperville. For both events, we are anticipating a lot of attendees and a lot of good conversation.
This is the 104th anniversary of the first Race Unity (Amity) Conference in Washington, DC. We have received proclamations from DuPage County Board (third year in a row), Northbrook (fourth year in a row), LaGrange, and Glen Ellyn.
Other possible proclamations include City of Chicago, Cook County Board, and Villa Park
