Illinois Citizens for Race Amity



The Conversation Continues

On August 24, 2025, we will host the first event in the series The Conversation Continues . . . This program will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the 95th Street Library, 3015 Cedar Glade Drive, Naperville. The program will feature a short video entitled A Blueprint for Racial Healing, followed by a discussion of the actions we can take to further this. This event is co-sponsored by Illinois Citizens for Race Amity, The Bahá'ís of Naperville, Pizza and Social Justice, and Collective Action to Build Community (CA2BC) See the next page for the invitation.

The Race Amity Film Series continues on August 16, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 at the Maywood Public Library, 121 S 5th Ave, Maywood.

And on September 14, 2025, Illinois Citizens for Race Amity, in conjunction with CA2BC, will host a showing of the movie A Binding Truth. Details on this presentation are still being developed and the complete information will be shared once it is finalized. Watch this space!
