Thank you for your support of the Baha’i School of the Western Suburbs and the last years at the Baha’i Unity Center

Wood Dale, IL

Dearest friends,

Everyone would like to thank you for the wonderful and beautiful years for the Baha’i School of the Western Suburbs and the last years at the Baha’i Unity Center. We could not have had such a successful School or Center without the participation of all the friends.

The teachers, the students, the parents, the lecturers, the friends who provided breakfasts, the friends who set up the chairs and took them down, the friends that decorated the Center, the friends that took pictures through these years, the friends who made the flyer’s, the friends who mailed them, the Holy Day celebrations, the memorizations, the craft lessons the students so enjoyed, the musicians, all the songs that were song by everyone, the friends that traveled from afar to teach us, the money that was contributed to the operation of the school from the LSA’s and the friends, the pot luck lunches contributed by all, the cleaning up after school, the mopping of the floors, cleaning the kitchen and the coffee pots, the many committee meetings,  etc. etc. etc……..

On and on we could go but most important, all the prayers that were said for the Faith, for healing, for protection of our friends in Iran, for teaching, for our families, and our friends in the Abha Kingdom.

With much gratitude we would also like to thank the friends that helped to close the Baha’i Unity Center, pack, move stuff, distribute, haul away, clean, and make a very huge project a very pleasant, friendly, and enjoyable one. A huge personal thank you.

The keys have been turned in and life goes on. A new door will open for us all to teach the Faith and create Unity in the world.

“At this hour of turmoil and deep anguish and sudden, unexpected calamity, our only consolation lies in service to the Cause of God, and steadfastness in His Faith, and the guarding of His Law, and in the bonds of unity among the friends, and their fervour and joy, and in deeds that exemplify the holy Teachings of the Abha Beauty, may His name be exalted, and the counsels of 'Abdu'l-Bahá, may our souls be sacrificed for His servitude. “
