Reflection Gathering/ The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness

Evanston, IL

This afternoon I attended the reflection meeting held in Evanston to discuss Michelle Alexander's book, The New Jim Crow.  About a dozen people watched segments of one of her presentations, and then reflected on our personal reactions, feelings, and intentions about this important issue.

I encourage everyone to consider attending the same presentation, to be held next weekend at the Oak Park Baha'i Center.  I feel it would be a valuable use of your time!
