"The Long Shadow " is a powerful documentary released in 2017 about the origins and legacy of slavery.  Investigative journalist Frances Causey explores her family history of slaveholding from America's founding through its insidious ties to racism in America today.


This film will be presented on Tuesday, 7/24 from 6:00-8:30pm at
Glenbard South High School

The screening will be followed by a short discussion of how this film may be used to stimulate ongoing conversations around this important social justice issue.
